A New Story for a Long-Standing Salon: An Immersive Brand Reimagined

INSIGHT
After more than 20 years in their original location, the owners of Kuva—a respected husband-and-wife team with a loyal client base—were ready for a fresh start.
They wanted a space and brand that felt as welcoming, modern, and elevated as the service experience they were known for.

Relocating offered the perfect moment to reimagine
the brand from the ground up. The goal was to create
an identity and environment that would not only retain their long-standing guests but also attract new clients and talented stylists looking for a creative, inspiring
place to work.

SOLUTION
A comprehensive rebrand brought the new vision to life. Because Kuva means “reflection” or “portrait,” the brand refresh was designed to make every touchpoint feel intentional and beautifully composed—an experience worthy of capturing. The work included a new logo, stationery system, brand guidelines, packaging, private-label candles, gift cards, and environmental graphics, creating a cohesive identity from the first impression to the in-salon experience.

In collaboration with the interior design team, the space was shaped around openness and calm, filled with natural light, living walls, and water elements to establish a serene retreat within the busy city.

RESULTS
The redesigned brand and environment elevated Kuva’s presence in the market. The salon successfully retained its core clientele, drew new guests, and attracted talented stylists—fueling the next chapter of growth for the business.
